Digital works

This is a gif I made in after effects. I like how this turned out, I feel the camera movements work well. I like doing stuff in a 3-D setting like this, I feel a camera moving in 3-D like this looks cool.

These are all pictures of my dogs that I messed around with in photoshop. I quite like the one of ollie in the water. I took a picture of him in a ridicules pose and put the tendrils of a jellyfish on him instead of legs and the back half of him, and put him on a water background. Then I kinda just played with the colors till it looked like that.

The grey scale one is of buddy and brandy. Brandy is the one sitting up (and the one on the trading card one) and buddy is the one laying down.

This is probably the assignment I was happiest with how it turned out. Some of the assignments going in I’m like, man I am not sure if this turned out how I wanted it to, however I felt pretty satisfied with this one. What I did was make some fire and a ball of fire with the particle effects, recorded the video, tracked the motion around my hand, placed the fire on that motion track path, rotoscoped myself so I could change the opacity of the background to make the fire behind me but on top of the background while also darkening the background to make the fire more apparent, and added light effects onto the fire to make it look like light is coming off the fire. Looking at the project after it is done though the tracking is a bit off and I feel I could have played with the lighting of the main fire a bit. Actually, when I turned it in I forgot to mask the fireball when it moves behind something, so I did that afterwards, which is the version here.
